Terms & Conditions
1. About Us
Sussex Mental Health Training Limited delivers mental health training, wellbeing workshops, physical training and wellbeing support services to organisations and individuals throughout the UK.
2. Bookings
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a purchase order, signed agreement, or payment, depending on the arrangement with the client.
Places on public courses are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date.
Sussex Mental Health Training Limited is not currently VAT registered.
4. Cancellations and Transfers
For public courses:
- More than 28 days before the course: transfer or refund available.
- 14–28 days before the course: transfer may be offered at our discretion.
- Less than 14 days before the course: fees are non-refundable.
Delegate substitutions may be accepted where course eligibility requirements are met.
5. Client Cancellation of In-House Training
- More than 28 days' notice: no cancellation fee.
- 14–28 days' notice: 50% of agreed fee may be charged.
- Less than 14 days' notice: up to 100% of agreed fee may be charged.
6. Course Materials and Intellectual Property
All training materials remain the intellectual property of Sussex Mental Health Training Limited, MHFA England, or the relevant content owner. Materials must not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission.
7. Certification
Certificates are issued by the relevant awarding or licensing organisation where applicable. Certification requirements must be completed in full.
8. Physical Training and Wellbeing Services
Where physical training, fitness coaching, nutritional guidance, or wellbeing support is provided, participants remain responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to take part.
Any advice provided is educational in nature and should not be considered a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
9. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy and quality of information provided, Sussex Mental Health Training Limited accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or consequential loss arising from participation in training or use of materials, except where required by law.
10. Privacy
Personal information provided during enquiries, bookings, and course delivery will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
11. Website Content
Information published on this website is provided for general information purposes only and may be updated without notice.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
